The Hoopee Jam is a laid back 4-day music festival created and promoted BY music lovers FOR music lovers. It is held on a 100 acre private farm along the Ohoopee River in Norristown, GA., 10 miles from Swainsboro, GA. Expect blues, funk, soul, jam and everything in between, and lots of dancing and good vibes!

Grab a few friends, tents and supplies - it's time for a ROAD TRIP!

FREE PRIMITIVE CAMPING ON SITE Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday Nights
*
Gates open at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday
*
Open acoustic jam on stage for all early bird arrivals on Thursday (no PA provided)
*
Limited vendors on site (food, drink, merchandise, jewelry)
*
In our continued effort to make the Hoopee Jam experience affordable for everyone, there will be will be no beer vendors at the festival, and coolers are allowed throughout the festival grounds including the stage/concert field (cans and plastic only – no glass please).
*
GREEN FESTIVAL - Please TAKE out what you bring in and please use designated receptacles for recycling

Rules and Regulations:
*
Camping in designated camping areas ONLY (maps will be provided) and is based on first come, first serve basis. No reservations accepted!
*
This is a primitive camping festival - NO hookups and NO water, come prepared! Bring chairs and all necessary camping equipment and necessities
*
Campfires MUST be contained and are ONLY allowed in approved camping areas
*
NO pets allowed
*
NO Illegal substances allowed
*
NO drinking and driving - PLEASE drink responsibly!
*
NO Underage drinking
*
NO camping on Monday night - ALL festival goers MUST leave the festival grounds by Noon Monday
*
NO Littering - Please deposit trash, including cigarette butts in appropriate receptacles
*
NO Violence or Weapons - aggressive conduct towards festival patrons or staff WILL result in immediate ejection from event
*
NO Glass bottles - serious injuries can occur w/broken glass. Please DO NOT bring bottles on premises. Cans or plastic containers only
*
NO Fireworks (we DO NOT want injuries or a forest fire!)
*
NO unregistered vending - selling of any item by anyone other than a registered vendor (click here to become a vendor) is strictly prohibited and could result in ejection from festival grounds.
*
NO personal food in the Stage/Concert field. All food in Stage/Concert field must be purchased by registered vendors. Personal food may be consumed at campsites.
*
RVs/CAMPERS allowed in designated area ONLY. There are NO hookups, NO dumping stations or electricity. RV camping is limited and on a FIRST come, FIRST serve basis

Special Announcement: Second Annual Hoopee Jam is proud to announce that a portion of the proceeds for the 2010 Hoopee Jam will be donated to several local food banks and shelters in Emanuel County. Festival-goers are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food items, blankets and coats to be donated to the shelters and food banks to help us support this worthwhile cause. Donation bins will be clearly marked onsite for all donated items. Thank you!

ATTENTION TAPERS: Hoopee Jam allows audio recording of our events. Please be self sufficient (bring your own batteries & power) and respectful of patrons. We do not offer sound board patches. Recordings are for trade only, and are NOT TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE. NO EXCEPTIONS. At any time, the Hoopee Jam may change or modify this policy without warning if problems arise.

Directions:
Please do not visit the farm prior to 4:00 P.M. on May 13, 2010 as a family resides at the farm. Please do not use a GPS.
The farm address is not on any system.
 
Please follow these very detailed directions and you will have no problems. Signs will be posted at the first turn off HWY 221 and at every turn thereafter. Safe travels!
