Special Announcement 04/01/2010:We are proud to announce that Kofi Burbridge of the Derek Trucks Band and Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band will be performing as an artist at large May 14-16 at the Second Annual Hoopee Jam! We're excited that our brother and charter Hoopee Jam artist, Yonrico Scott has been chosen to tour the west coast with Earl Klugh, Bob James & other special guests. He will thus be unable to perform at this year's Hoopee Jam. While he will be missed this year, we are so happy for Yonrico, and he will be back at next year's Hoopee Jam and in years to come. And last but not least, we're thrilled to announce that Moon Taxi, a five piece rock band based out of Nashville, TN, will be performing in place of the Yonrico Scott Band at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 14. Moon Taxi has supported national touring acts such as Gov't Mule, DJ Logic, The New Mastersounds, Maytisyau, Umphrey's McGee, and most recently Tea Leaf Green. They have played festivals such as 10,000 Lakes Festival, Warren Haynes' Christmas Jam, Moe's Summer Camp, Birmingham's City Stages, the Terrapin Hill Harvest Festival, and Huntsville's Big Spring Jam.
